Thanks to Erwin Spencer

For all who knew Erwin Spencer, his humility and generosity was apparent.  He gave of himself tirelessly in so many ways.

 His final tribute and gift to our mission was announced in worship on August 31.  Erwin directed his gift to the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church Endowment Fund.  It was something that he truly believed in, helped establish, and quietly supported throughout his life. 

The Endowment Fund is designated to keep the original gift amount intact while providing future investment income from dividends to be used for church ministries.

His perpetual gift has increased our Endowment Fund by over $500,000.  We are extremely grateful to Erwin for creating this living legacy to carry out God’s mission.
